According to Appgenset’s R&D team, the newly released 300kW biogas unit is fully adapted to the high-dust and corrosive biogas operating conditions of farms. Equipped with a high-power 6-cylinder Weichai gas engine adopting turbocharged lean-burn technology, its key components are reinforced and anti-corrosion treated against hydrogen sulfide and ammonia contained in biogas. It can operate stably at full load with methane concentration ranging from 45% to 65%, and start smoothly at a minimum intake pressure of 10kPa. The power generation efficiency exceeds 37%, supporting non-stop 24-hour operation with outstanding durability.
The
gas generator adopts an integrated silent grid-connected design, fully equipped with closed water cooling system, DN50 pipeline flame arrester, imported Italian pressure reducing valve, large-flow exhaust muffler and other complete supporting parts. It can be delivered to the site and put into installation immediately after arrival. The silent cabinet paired with chassis spring shock-absorbing structure controls noise within 110dB(A) at 1 meter from the generator, avoiding noise interference to farm living areas. No wastewater is produced during operation, and waste engine oil is collected for centralized disposal, fully complying with farm environmental control standards.
In terms of intelligent control, the 300kW biogas generator set is fitted with a professional intelligent control system, supporting local manual and automatic dual operation modes together with mobile APP remote monitoring. Managers can check core operating data such as unit voltage, current, real-time power generation, coolant temperature and engine oil pressure anytime anywhere. The equipment is built-in with multiple safety protection mechanisms including low oil pressure, overheating, overspeed, overcurrent, overload and under-frequency, which will automatically shut down the unit and send alarms upon faults. It can self-start during power outages to guarantee uninterrupted power supply for breeding equipment. A reserved RS485 industrial communication interface enables parallel operation of multiple units, allowing surplus electricity to be legally connected to the state grid for self-consumption and grid feed-in.
The complete equipment delivers three stable profit streams after installation. First, zero-cost biogas produced by fermentation fuels the unit to fully cover the farm’s daily electricity demand and sharply cut mains power expenditure. Second, excess clean power is sold to the grid with special subsidies for biogas power generation, generating continuous additional revenue. Third, biogas residue and slurry after anaerobic fermentation of manure can be processed into commercial organic fertilizer and supplied to fruit, vegetable and grain planting bases, creating an extra sideline income channel.
